Problem or Normal? HELP!

I just recently added a large size repti-shelter which is used for hatching eggs and/or in my case a nice humid hiding spot, to my 40 gallon tank. My BP is about 9 months old and have NEVER had a single problem with him, except for some slight shed problems (reason for the repti-shelter). So after a few days he found the spot and went in and out of it for 2-3 days. Now he has been in there for about 3 days straight and is not very active at all. He responded slightly to touch, and when near his head flicked his tongue and moved (slightly but quickly) in response. Not only that but his eyes are really milky. I am assuming he’s going into shed, but I’d rather be safe than sorry! Oh yea and and the repti-shelter is also filled about 1/3 with moss, which came with it and is pretty damp/wet from me spraying it with mostly water and some Zoo-Med tropical mist. Temp is about 85-90 and humidity is usually around 60 on this side of the tank, but a lot more humid in the shelter obviously. Any ideas or comments? Does he just like it in there? Should I be worried or is this normal? Any help would be greatly appreciated…especially by Mr. Crowley (my BP)

Do snakes heal?

My snake looks all raw on his belly. I think he may have gotten burnt at some point. I used to use a cotton like material that I believe he dug under and burned himself on the under the tank heater. I’ve given him a few baths and scrubbed him really good but his underside looks all raw. I’ve even gone as far as using neosporin and it doesn’t seem to be helping much. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
