I don't pay him allowance but he earns things by doing his chores and proving that he is responsible.Dad word is LAW ! Doing the research is a good start. Balls are notorious for this kind of feeding pattern. Ive read that they can go on strike for 8 to 12 months! ( not mine :P) usually after a good shed they may want to eat. BTW before , and only if you have to force feed. remember patience pays off, they will fight you every step of the way. let me know if you need more advise on how to do this safely and effectively. I was going to do the baby food and tube but I AM SURE GLAD i DIDN'T HAVE TO ! WHEW! If the humidity in the cage is high and the temperatures are correct, then there is no need for a bath. Misting the cage with a spray bottle of water would be much less stressful for the snake. If the snake is having trouble, then it should need no more than 10 minutes in a luke warm bath then use a wet cloth and rub the stuck pieces of shed to try to remove them. If they don't come off, try again in a couple of days. Good luck! You only need to put it in water if it is having trouble shedding. Temperament comes with trust trust comes over time. Be sure to let your little guy chill out in its new home for a week or so before you start handling it.
